Pastoral Care, Counselling and Chaplaincy
You can develop your focus on Care ministries from a Pentecostal perspective within Global classroom’s M.Div. curriculum. Students integrate their Christian faith while learning to bring healing and wholeness to members of their congregation or community.
LEARN FROM REPUTED SCHOLARS
The faculty leads for this program include Dr. Willy Abraham, born in India, spent much of his growing up in Rajasthan was the Registrar of Filadelfia Bible College, Udaipur. He has completed his B.D. (Union Biblical Seminary, Pune), M.Th. in Pastoral Care & Counselling (SAIACS, Bangalore) before moving to North America. He has completed his D.Min. in Pastoral Ministry from Trinity International University, Chicago. He serves as a Board Certified Senior Staff Chaplain in a leading hospital and also as a Hospice Chaplain at a Palliative and Hospice Care Center in Chicago. He is the Senior Pastor of Good Shepherd Fellowship, Chicago. He has extensive church ministry experience, to prepare students for effective Care ministry in the twenty-first century.
PAUL T. MATHEWS
Dr Paul Mathews, has completed his Ph.D in Clinical Psychology from Mohanlal Sukhadia University, Udaipur and has pastoral care experience and ministry, to develop students who are called to the service. He is the Senior Pastor of Filadelfia Central Church and the National President of Filadelfia Fellowship Churches of India. He writings include More Than Just a Way, to equip the Church and encourage individuals to pursue a God-centered life.
SUNIL A. P.
Sunil A.P is a Pastoral Care and Counselling lecturer in Filadelfia Bible College, Udaipur, Rajasthan. He has earned his M.Th in Pastoral Theology and Counselling from SAIACS in Bengaluru, his M.Div from Union Biblical Seminary, Pune, and his B.Th from New Theological College, Dehradun, India. He has served as a Youth Counsellor for seven years in Pune with ICPF.
Wilson Willy Abraham was born and raised in Rajasthan before immigrating to the United States as a teenager. He completed his undergraduate in Nursing and worked in the medical field for many years. He pursued his calling into ministry and went on to complete his MDiv and MA in Cultural Engagement from Trinity International University. He is currently pursuing the Doctor of Ministry (DMin) with a focus on Pastoral Care. He is the associate pastor at Good Shepherd Fellowship and currently works as a board-certified chaplain with a healthcare organization in Chicago. Wilson and his wife, Greta, are blessed with two children, Elijah and Paul
Vocational and Ministry Preparation
Students will be better prepared for roles in: chaplaincy, pastoring and counselling, and work involving people suffering from trauma and addiction.
