COURSE DESCRIPTION
This course explores the major theological themes present in the Gospel of Luke, focusing on its unique perspective on charismatic theology. It aims to understand the distinctive contribution of Luke’s Gospel to the New Testament and its relevance to contemporary Christian faith and practice. Special emphasis will be placed on the role of the Holy Spirit, universal salvation, compassion and forgiveness, the reversal of fortunes, and the journey motif as key elements of Luke’s narrative.

ASSIGNMENTS AND GRADING
Weekly Assignments:
- Written Responses: Short written responses (200 words each) based on weekly readings and lectures. To be submitted at the end of each week.
- Discussion Questions: Weekly discussion questions to facilitate engagement with the material.
- Quizzes: Weekly quizzes (25 questions each) to assess understanding of key concepts.
Final Research Paper:
- A 1500-2000 word paper on the topic; “The Role of the Holy Spirit in Luke-Acts: A Theological Exploration”. The paper should include a cover page, footnotes, and a bibliography. Keep in mind the following guidelines on how to organized the assignment when writing.
